This is one of my favorite quotes. It resonates with me and I have always been drawn to the service of others. I originally opened a business because I wanted to be more available to my children while they were young.

I opened Accu-Data Services over 20 years ago as a resume writer and virtual assistant, before they even existed.

Over the last 20+ years, I been writing resumes for my own clients and for various employment agencies.  The employment agencies would refer their clients to me to strengthen their resumes and position them to be hired for the jobs.  Working closely with employment agencies has taught me how to position a client’s skills and abilities to make them in demand. I am a member of the NRWA (National Resume Writers Association) to keep my resume writing skills strong and relevant to the industry.

Writing resumes is exciting because you get to hear interesting stories of how people have progressed from one position to another.  It is truly fascinating to see how they have grown and each job has positioned them for growth and prosperity.    Working with a wide variety of people is challenging, but extremely rewarding.  It’s exciting to help someone to move forward in their career and I look forward to what I will be working on every day!
